Bad Karma is a Guild that is dedicated to the PvE side of WoW. We work towards mastering the end game instances and raid constantly. We have a friendly atmosphere and try to make WoW a fun game rather than a constant grind for epic items. We take raiding seriously but we dont make it a chore.
Many founding members of Bad Karma have played the WoW end game before on other servers and came together in one place so we could all work together, many of the members are from other games or are new to MMO's all together, but we have a patient attitude and help those who are new to learn the neuonces of raiding and class play.
We do expect members to use certain addons, especialy CT_Raid, and Group calander, and we use voice comms in raids with the Ventrilo server.
Our loot distribution system is a fixed cost DKP (Dragon Kill Points) system. This means that the more a member attends and harder they work the more DKP they earn and subsequently the more loot they recieve. We have zero tollerance for abusive, lazy, or beligerant members, we do not condone drama and disruption, this kind of attitude will result in a Guild removal quickly after a warning. Players who would like to join us can make an application on our forums, then after a day or so we will contact them, applications are vetted by all members of the Guild, and if everyone is happy then you will be asked to start a trial period of four weeks. At the end of that time the membership will vett you again to see if you will be promoted to member status or not. During your trial period we try to see if you are what we want in this community and if we are what you want from your Guild.
Members are primarily level 60 and we have members from dozens of nationalities. We expect members to be available to raid at least four times a week on various evenings but we also run other instances during the day to help educate and equip ourselves.
Our policy is to prioritise PvE, members needed in a raid are expected to leave Battle Grounds to attend and to help out with other raids the Guild is organising. We have no problems with a member who wishes to do PvP while there is a lull in activity in the Guild but they must be willing to place the guilds PvE goals above their own PvP ones.
Hope this explains any questions you have about us, and serves to let you know a little about who we are.
